3 Types of Stainless Steel Jewelry for Men

There are a large number of males in the world today that wear jewelry for one reason or another. Some do it to accentuate their appearance, others do it to make a statement and still others do it for functionality reasons. Whatever their reason for wearing it, jewelry in the world today has become as visible on men as it is on women. There is nothing abnormal about a man wearing jewelry in society today and because of that many of the jewelry companies that used to be confined to half the population are now getting in on the act and manufacturing jewelry specifically intended to be purchased and worn by men.

However, to a large extent in the public discourse, jewelry is still associated with a woman more than it is with a man. Women still do wear a lot more jewelry than men do and there is much more jewelry on the market that is intended for women than for men. Conversations that revolve around jewelry often have implications that the jewelry being discussed is for women and many other little things point to jewelry still largely being associated with women. A lot of the new stainless steel jewelry that is coming out however is equally wearable by a man or a woman and as the stainless steel jewelry gets more popular, so too will the notion of jewelry being as much for men as it is for women.

Rings

Rings are a great example of this, because a large number of rings are unisex in nature. Men have been wearing rings for years and there are many different reasons why a man will wear a ring. When a person graduates from University (particularly if they are an Engineer), they might be gifted a ring which they wear proudly to proclaim their school ties. In other cases, a man might be wearing a ring that their father or grandfather wore. There are many reasons why a man might wear a ring and the stainless steel rings out today are not only durable, but also very cheap in comparison to other ring materials.

Watches

A wrist watch and a pocket watch can both be considered jewelry since they are sold in a number of jewelry stores. In many ways, it is watches that benefit from the advent of stainless steel jewelry because as a substance stainless steel tends to be quite a bit more functional than other materials conventionally used to make jewelry. A stainless steel chain or a stainless steel wrist band will be able to withstand normal wear and tear in a much easier fashion than other materials and will not need to be replaced anywhere near as often as a gold-plated wrist band would by comparison.

Earrings

Many men nowadays are also wearing an earring and stainless steel earrings are very good choices for men. Not only are they cheap to purchase (and in many cases the difference between stainless steel and silver in a tiny earring is impossible to tell), but they also last longer. Men that have tried stainless steel earrings now swear by them, so if you wear earrings then it might be worth your while to give stainless steel a try.

1 Get an energy monitor

By 2020 the Government wants all homes to be fitted with Smart Meters, which will show how much electricity we’re using at any point and enable appliances to be set to come on when power is cheapest. About 22,000 home have had them installed on a trail basis. While you’re waiting to be offered a Smart Meter (ask your energy supplier to make you part of a trial), next best is a home energy monitor. These display how much electricity you’re using in real time – a neat way of finding out which are the
most power-hungry appliances.

Some energy suppliers will provide them free on request, or you can buy them (from suppliers such as www.efergy.com or www.eco-eye.com ) with varying functions, costing from £30 to £100. Users tend to find energy consumption drops within the first year. Read more »

If the design developed by Chang Ting Jen is to be seen, he has designed a cycle what we can call as the Backpack Bicycle. As per the designer, with more and more emphasis being given to the public transport system, it’s not physically possible to explore a city depending solely on such a transport system and that is where his invention comes handy. It weighs just 5.5kg and also doubles up as a hand cart whenever necessary. As per the designer the weight shall come down once the metal parts are replaced by plastics.
